First Ski Day

A beautiful day ( high of 34 ) lots of sunshine, no lift lines and George does not complain MUCH!
We started at 0805, we were in line when the lift opened at 0830 made our last run as the lifts were closing, tails were dragging.

We were bright eyed and bushy ailed when we started out this morning. We had to get out of the condo because we were to hot with all our ski dress on. "Does not mater how you ski as long as you look good" is George's motto. We looked good!!
George is high maintenance, had to rent a locker to keep his boots at the lift, may take all week but I Will\ get him into the CHEAP mode.

Boy does look like a pro, but its hard to get him to stop long enough to take a photo. Note how few folks are on the slope, there were times where George and myself were the only folks on the slope.

George is smiling because he has taken sis ski boots off. There may be something to renting a locker at the lift so you can wear your street shoes.
It has been a great day, George is loosing weight ( can't stand my cooking) Deer sausage was not the big hit I had planned on at breakfast, George wanted eggs.
We have spent an hour in the hot tub and sauna so we will be able to get out of bed in the morning, we have to get up early because it takes old guys a long time to get ready, have to redress several times to put things on we forgot. memory is a problem also, can't remember which pocket the lift ticket or camera or candy or coins is in. We are not using any coins coffee is $2.70 for a small cup, I am drinking more water, and eating deer jerky ( George does not eat jerky) . But we are getting along fine like-- the odd couple.
heck back tomorrow for the latest.
