Last Day for Alabama Gang--Keystone is Relieved

It has been a great week, but all good things must come to an end.  We have been blessed with good weather, great skiing and short lift lines, Joel and Wade skied 250, 000 vertical feet, and no serious injury's.  We will be leaving tomorrow morning (Sat 27 Feb) and driving through to Alabama.
.

Break time this morning on the deck at the Outback Lodge.

Beautiful blue sky, lots of sunshine and just look at that ski run in the background.

Buster ready to attack the ski runs, tape on his ski goggles protects from sun glare.

We have had ample opportunities to enjoy Gods creation.

Murray is so tired he has to take a short rest.

Everyone knows Murray-we got on the bus ( Murray had left early) and a lady from Kansas ask us if we knew Murray-- she had met him on the bus earlier.
See you in person soon, good Lord willing.  Why not consider joining us for a ski trip next year??

Arapahoe Basin Will Never be the same

A beautiful day, cold but lots of sunshine.  Arapahoe Basin is only 6 miles from Keystone but is very different skiing, lots of open bowls and most is above the tree line. Check out the pictures.

There is no motels/condos at A basin only skiing.

                                                                    Buster having a fine day!
Joel in all his beauty!

Can't miss Murray!

Can't miss Murray anywhere.

We can see 8 peaks higher than 12,000 feet.

We can see Keystone and Breckenridge from this vantage point.

We have really enjoyed the beauty of Gods creation.

Looks like we are on top of the world.

Break time.

Do you remember the seen from "Bucket List" where the aid put the remains in a Chock Full of Nuts can and placed the cans in a little rock cave?  The movie made you think it was high in the Himalayas but it was filmed on the mountain behind us.

Lots of open bowl skiing--we are above the tree line at about 13, 000 ft.

Lunch.

The Alabama Gang plus a visitor high atop A Basin.
